Stories, pictures, letters, reminisences or any other materials about Noguchi's life and work are being sought from friends, family, colleagues, brief acquaintences, people who worked on any of his projects or own(ed) any of his works, or perhaps just met him briefly but have an interesting story or impression to offer.
Unlike histories or biographies, stories and anecdotes useful for poetic treatment need not be large events or visible moments. Anything, from fleeting reminiscences to the type of tomatoes he liked to plant to a description and reaction of the man whose garden rock Isamu stole as a young child may be useful.
The author will be most grateful for any materials on the subject, no matter how small or peripheral they may seem, and any expressed wish for confidentiality of sources will be treated respectfully.
